Our organization provides financial aid for the treatment to underprivileged cancer patients. Many cancers are treatable if detected early and treated in time. However, many cancer patients in Raichur are not able to afford the treatment costs and therefore we provide financial support.

“Threads of Life” a tailoring program that empowers women who are from very poor backgrounds and work either as domestic maids or as homemakers. Some are emotionally disturbed because of domestic violence and want a way out of their economic and social life while others are gripped with generational poverty and seeking a sustainable livelihood to break away from the spell of this poverty. We organized Tailoring Course for 30 days at Sindhanur, Karnataka. More than 35 women benefitted from the course. This program has scaled their outlook to better social living and economic empowerment.

We have organized an awareness & workshop program on handicrafts which is Hastakalaa Handicraft Exhibition. The main aim of the program is to become self-dependent and stand on their own feet. The constant problems that surface during discussions are poverty and unemployment. The majority of the participants are below the poverty line. They are all semi-skilled, drop-out, or casual laborers Training are planned as per their background and accordingly training and motivation program for self-reliance are planned. In this awareness & workshop program, we provide necessary information and support for exhibitions, fairs, conferences, product knowledge, availability of the product, and trading knowledge to small and micro women entrepreneurs and artisans in different activities.

People with disabilities in the developing world do not have adequate access to medical care. A wheelchair is a form of assistive technology that eases the burden for many. On seeing the ongoing need, Sadhana distributed wheelchairs to 10 underprivileged physically challenged individuals in Raichur.
